New Desks

The successful completion of this project at ITC Illebo marks an important step in supporting this long-established school, founded by the Josephite Fathers to address the educational needs of the Kasai region.

Previously, students faced significant challenges due to ageing furniture and the shared use of facilities between ITC Illebo and the Saint Jacques Secondary School Complex. Many were forced to sit on the floor or crowd onto narrow benches, often with little space to write, creating difficult and undignified learning conditions. Thanks to the support of SJAA, the school was able to produce 90 new desks with attached benches. This has greatly improved the learning environment, enabling students from both institutions to study in safer, more comfortable, and more supportive conditions.
